Estilo Clothing launched in the summer of 1995 with a singular vision: to celebrate style, music, and culture. From the very beginning, Estilo set out to honor the rich diversity of global sound and creative expression through the art of 100% hand screen-printed apparel, by artist, Jerry Limon.
Designed, by Jerry, for musicians and music lovers alike, Estilo Clothing is known for its clean, expressive graphic tees that translate rhythm into visual form. Each design draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of musical influences like Afro-Latin and Afro-Caribbean, Latin Jazz, Rock, Blues, Urban Hip-Hop, and beyond, capturing the energy and soul of cultures from around the world.
Born in Oakland, California, in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, Estilo Clothing has grown into one of the most distinctive art-driven apparel brands to emerge from the region. Today, the brand operates out of Los Angeles, offering an exclusive collection of graphic tees for men, tops and dresses for women, and hats that continue to turn heads across the globe.

About
Jerry
Emerging from Afro-Latin roots, with heritage tied to Panama and Mexico, Jerry Limon was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. A place where culture, music, and movement are an integral part of everyday life. Skateboarding shaped his early years, during and after high school, teaching him freedom, flow, and how to see the world in movement from the streets up.
While studying graphic design, art and screen printing at Ohlone and Laney colleges, Jerry found his passion; a love for painting... Creating his first series of works, winning awards, and discovering his voice as an artist. The sketches from those paintings became the foundation of Estilo Clothing. By 1993, the idea of art on T-shirts was taking shape.
In 1995, Estilo Clothing was officially born. Printed out of the classroom at Laney, selling directly to the community. During this time, Jerry was deeply immersed in skateboarding, DJing, and dancing.
Every design begins with hand drawings, then intentionally screen printed one color at a time by Jerry in his studio. A do-it-yourself artist at heart, guided by curiosity and commitment to the craft. Jerry is also an aspiring percussionist rooted in Afro-Cuban traditions, and a lifelong lover of music; especially Latin and Reggae. He is fascinated/captivated by the late ’60s and ’70s, an era he views as music’s pinnacle, when sound carried spirit, message, and soul.

The process
Each piece begins as an original concept... Researched, considered, and allowed to develop before ever being drawn. Designs are created within a six-color limit, pushing detail and storytelling through precision and restraint.
Every color is separated, screens are burned individually, and each layer is carefully registered and printed by hand one at a time in our Los Angeles studio. Using a softer screen-printing technique, thin ink passes building a clean, breathable finish that becomes part of the garment rather than sitting on top of it. The result is a timeless print; durable, comfortable, and made to be worn for years.
